TRAINING FOR CHILDREN



School Garden Training: Nearly all children of the Home are from villages where some they still have few properties in the form of uncultivated or cultivated land. School garden Training was introduced so that children will be able to develop their skills in agriculture. Children were teaches with organic farming where teaching on crop management was provided.


Piggery: The children were taught piggery so that they can use it as a way to earn as part of their daily activity in the future.


Art and Craft: Some children were skillful in handicraft. Craft training was introduce so that the children will gain more interest and are able to develop their skill. Children are skillful in craft with the use of waste material like magazine, bottle, cartoon box etc. in making cars, decoration and card making. These craft are able to generate small funds


Charcoal making: Some children are interested to make charcoal with the mixture of cow dung, clay and surplus charcoal powder. This help to reduce the expenditure of the Home by using this own produced charcoal which is more lasting than the normal charcoal. Charcoal making could be the future employment generation for the children.


Music class: Interested children get the opportunity their talent in music by providing them a music teacher once a week to help them improve their skills.


Football coaching from Rangdajied football club: Interested children in outdoor activities get the opportunity to show their talents in sport mainly football with the help and guidance from the mentioned Football Club.


Computer training given by the staffs: Basic knowledge of how to fiddle around with the technology that is computers is taught to every child.


Other trainings: Some children engaged in drawing and paintings andmoreothertrainings the Home will be provided as per the skills and interest of the children aiming to make them becoming self-support in the future.
